About Jen Foster
Nashville based Jen Foster has released her latest project, "You Stayed." The EP is a dedication to her fans who have continued to help the native Texan achieve independent success. Foster is an award-winning singer/songwriter who regularly sells out shows across the country and runs her own label Fosterchild Records. The special bond she has created with her fans through live shows and her use of social medias has helped her build a career that is the envy of many major label artists. Foster and her team tapped into that energy to spread the word about her latest project.
"You Stayed is a love letter to my fans" says Foster. The entire recording is a tribute to the fans who have not only stayed but supported Foster through the ups and downs of a musica career. The track "Venice Beach," the theme to the Emmy award-winning web series "Venice: The Series" is a being given away as a free download directly from Foster's brand new website. Not unlike Amanda Palmer who recently raised over one million dollars through fan funding. Foster has faith in her fans and gives them the opportunity to help her further her career and reach for her goals. Foster makes Nashville her home base while touring the country. She moves seamlessly between Music Row's mainstream culture and the indie pop world. The title song to "You Stayed" was co-written with hit songwriter/producer and Nashville Star judge, Jeffrey Steele. Legendary country music record producer Garth Fundis is a fan and friend who enthusiastically champions Foster's career and helps spread the word of her talent to others in the industry. Foster also sits on the board of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). Foster goes on tour regularly in support of her many releases. She works with LA producer Rich Jacques and has also secured TV and Film placements through hard work and frontline networking on her own.
