Chris Lord-Alge, 6 Time Grammy Award Winning Mix Engineer
"With the release of her new album, STATIC, the New York based musician, recording engineer and producer creates a world of unique trip-hop, psychedelic sounds that trigger Burtonesque images, while her distorted melodies and enticing vocals take you on a journey through your imagination. Erica Glyn likes to draw outside the lines and in doing so has produced an intriguing mix of captivating vocals and elements of the bizarre in her sound. She isn’t afraid to experiment with instruments and tonal effects. In doing so she creates a mood, an environment where one can escape. It’s an escape into an unconventional but enchanting world."
Nina Ellis, The Deceptive Cadence
“When I listen to Erica’s All I Wanna Do, I am transported to a world where I’m the cool chic on stage standing in front of the microphone performing to an audience of hip New Yorkers. There’s a smoky bar (in my reality you’re still allowed), I’m wearing a short dress with studded boots, rocking out with a coy but bold look in my eyes. Only when the song is over do I realize I’m in front of the mirror in my bedroom belting it out into a hairbrush microphone, voice scratchy from singing along at the top of my lungs. I can’t help but feel a tad bit cooler – and happier – when I listen to Erica’s music.”
Jessica Amato, Fan
"...densely engaging new album... an adventurous nebula of trip hop, acoustic instruments, programming, distortion, alluring vocals and deadly serious hooks."
David Weiss, SonicScoop
